I'm a freelance children's book illustrator and I work in a variety of materials including pencil, pen and ink, watercolour, gouache and occasionally digitally. The choice all depends on what suits the story and on the constraints or freedoms allowed by each project.

I love illustrating in black and white as much as I enjoy using colour. Tones and lines can be as exhilarating to explore and can convey so much atmosphere.
